The Fashion Show, sponsored by Solutia, Inc., featured garments crocheted by conference faculty and participants. Sandra Lingler of the North Coast Chapter of CGOA was the Fashion Show coordinator. Models were provided by the Barbizan Modeling School & Stone Models & Talents Agency. CGOA International Liaison Pauline Turner was the emcee for the fashion show, ably substituting for Nancy Brown.

Juried Exhibit & Crochet Contest Awards

Another highlight of the banquet was the presentation of the awards for:

Dinner & Decorations

Dinner menu was: Chi cken Wellington, a Seasoned Chicken Breast surrounding Mushroom Duxelle, accented with a Light Veloute, accompanied by Wild Rice Timbale and Stir Fry Vegetable Medley OR Roasted Prime Rib of Beef served in its own natural juices, accompanied by Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes and Stir Fry Vegetable Medley.

Each attendee received a crocheted teacup filled with crocheted roses. These favors and the table decorations were made by members of the North Coast chapter of CGOA, the Springfield Ohio Happy Hookers Crochet Guild, and the Indianapolis chapter of CGOA. Meterials were donated by Coats & Clark.

Theodora Parker, right, was the lucky winner of the Sedona Lariat donated by Lydi a Borin, The Beadwrangler, as a special fundraiser for CGOA. Theodora is wearing the Sedona Lariat in "Antique Amethyst", and Lydia is wearing the lariat in "Mystic Mist".

Sandra Lingler, the Fashion Show Coordinator, won the "Ohio Plaid" afghan door prize, which was donated by Jenny King of Australia.
