The Executive Board and Committee Chairpersons for 2000-2001 reported on their activities of the past year. Accomplishments included: the introduction of the CGOA Pattern line by Vice President Jackie Young and "CGOA Presents" yarn label by Trade Show Representative Nancy Brown, the Masters program and correspondence course by Education Committee Co-Chairperson Nancy Nehring. The Education Committee also continues its work on developing Standards for Crochet. Jean Blaine of the Education Standards Subcommittee presented a draft of Standards for review. Membership Chair Marge Scensny reported that CGOA membership grew from 674 in August 2000 to 912 in August 2001. To further encourage growth in membership, Marge unveiled the National Membership Campaign by which current members can recruit new members. Prizes will be offered for members who recruit the most new members by July 31, 2002.
CGOA Librarian Linda Sauter reported that the CGOA Library had more than doubled in size since 1998 from when she became custodian of the collection, growing from 1780 to 3975 pieces in just 3 years.

Two proposals for hosting the Chain Link 2002 conference were presented to the membership:
CGOA members were heavily in favor of the West Palm Beach destination, and the Executive Board will pursue a contract for those dates.
