Crochet Applique: More Than Just a Rhyme |
|
CM89AP. Carol Mullen.
While appliqueing crochet to fabric is not a new idea, this approach is very novel. A lovely felted fabric was covered with crochet shapes and stitches, beads, buttons and a bit of embroidery to make a lush new, highly textured fabric suitable for a variety of garments and decorative items. This looks very complex when finished, but is quite simple to do. Participants made a designer bag.
