On Sunday, August 12, 2001, a bus took a tour group to "Old Sacramento" for an afternoon of shopping and sightseeing. A wide variety of activities were offered, including museums, walking a historic trail downtown to the State Capitol, and a one-hour narrated cruise on a paddleboat along the Sacramento River. There was also plenty of opportunity to shop for special souvenirs and gifts and to enjoy an afternoon along the Sacramento Waterfront.
