"Bead Crochet Half Dolls"
Jenny King
Half dolls were created in the 1890s as useful items to adorn the home. They were used as pincushions, for whisks with a small broom attached to dust crumbs from tablecloths, etc. Jenny King has added bead crocheted skirts to these little dolls to transform them into a work of art.
"Crochet for Barbie"
Nicky Epstein
These fashion dolls from Nicky Epstein's private collection are wearing outfits featured in her "Crochet for Barbie" book.
