Crochet Guild of America: CGOA National Convention: Chain Link 2004 |
Chain Link 2004 hosted the Craft Yarn Council of America (CYCA) time trials for the Fastest Knitter and Crocheter. The challenge was to see how many stitches you could knit or crochet in 3 minutes. Knitters were working 60 stitches per row in stockinette stitch. Crocheters were working 20 double crochet stitches per row. Results of time trials being held at different locations throughout the United States will determine who travels to England to face the fastest knitter and crocheter in the United Kingdom. CGOA member Lily Chin is the current holder of the record for fastest crocheter. |
