CGOA's 20th Anniversary
Teaching a Child to Crochet
Share |
Do you know of a child who would love to learn how to crochet, and you would love to teach them, but you just don't know where to start? These materials were designed by the Craft Yarn Council of America to help those who want to share their talents and love for crochet with a child.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dixie Berryman, Alice Heim, and Evie Rosen for their assistance in preparing the information contained in this handbook as well as the Certified Instructors Program materials.

The Crochet Guild of America expresses its utmost appreciation to the Craft Yarn Council of America (CYCA) for developing these materials on teaching children how to crochet and for allowing CGOA to post this information on our web site. These materials were developed by CYCA for participants in CYCA's Certified Instructors Program (CIP) and first distributed at the CYCA Certified Instructors Luncheon at CGOA's Chain Link crochet conference held August, 1999 in Bellevue, Washington.
