John Costello, our guide for the first few days meet us with a nice white clean bus containing 7 sleepy crocheters from the New York flight. He gave us a tour of some of the nearby countryside. Arriving back in Dublin after our tour of the shore north of Dublin, we crossed the River Liffey. It runs right through the city and very near the Temple Bar Hotel where we would meet up with the last 4 members of the group who flew the day before from California.
Our stay in Dublin gave us time to sightsee as well as some shopping time and included a great visit from Kathy Earle who brought the loveliest crocheted things to see. She also brought everyone a small rose on a green ribbon sewn to a small safety pin. We all wore our Irish Roses with pleasure. I was most anxious to learn how to make them.
