The Master of Fiber in Thread course is designed to test your knowledge of and ability to produce advance techniques in thread crochet. The course is non-competitive and aimed to encourage a high standard of proficiency. The course requires you to complete a portfolio of about 20 swatches and answer a similar number of questions based on those swatches. Your work is evaluated by a qualified judge selected from CGOA Certified Judges, CGOA Professional members and past graduates of the Masters Program.
The Master of Fiber in Thread course is open to CGOA members only. As a candidate, you will have one year from date syllabus is mailed to you to complete the course. A fee of $75 sent with your application is for enrollment only. Fee is not refundable even if course is not completed. You must complete the course requirements to the satisfaction of the judge to receive a Master of Fiber in Thread certificate.
