Oh boy, the only place to book this actual hotel is on the Starwood Preferred Guest website, and they want US$298 + taxes/charges. I phone the hotel directly and her computer told her we could still book via the CGOA website, but it's giving this message "Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel We apologize for the inconvenience, this room type is no longer available." Other booking sites say it's sold out completely.

If you are having trouble registering for the hotel, like I did, I suggest you call the main number, and plead your case. The website has been returning error messages to me for days, and the person listed on the page for help has not returned my calls. But the main reservation desk was able to book me a room at the Conference rate.

I am registered but missed checking off "yes I am a newbie, and would like a buddy". Can this be added?

Nothing happens when I go to 'register' nothing is connected to the classes

I'm registered! My only concern is that my itinerary confirmation does not show the "extras" I selected, such as Marketplace Entry and Excellence in Crochet event. Hope they're on the record!

It worked! Just needed to reload the page a few times. Just click on the "Register" hotline above, and it will take you to the registration page. So excited -- actually got the classes I most wanted, first time ever I've managed to register early enough to not find my top picks already "sold out"!

The CGOA office is aware that there is extraordinary traffic to the website for registration. If you are not able to enter the registration area, please close out of the website and refresh your browser and try again. Thank you.
