The Crochet Guild of America (CGOA) began in 1994, when 90 enthusiastic
crocheters gathered in Chicago to share their favorite activity with others.
This informal group has developed into a thriving organization, dedicated to
supporting crocheters and promoting crochet as one of the most versatile,
beautiful forms of fiber art. Our members get together in local chapters, and
many attend our wonderful annual conference as well as our regional events to
hone their skills, network with other crochet enthusiasts, and learn about some
of the latest and best designs, techniques, materials, and tools for crocheting.
CGOA members enjoy significant discounts on classes at the
conference as well as member-to-member discounts; receive the bi-monthly
magazine Crochet! with our informative Chain Link newsletter. Even
if there is no chapter near you, I know you would benefit from a CGOA membership
and we can help you get a chapter started. It is as easy as sitting down with a
friend to crochet! As you wander through the site, please jot down any questions
you may have. I'll be glad to see that you get the answers you need.
