2020 Chain Link Conference Update

Due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Crochet Guild of America (CGOA) made the necessary decision to cancel this year’s in-person Chain Link Conference originally scheduled for July 22-25, 2020, in New Orleans.

We are heart-broken having to make this announcement.  We know many of you were looking forward to a week of learning and spending time with old friends and making new ones too. Whether this was going to be your 1st or 26th conference the pain is still the same.

Protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our members serves as the reason for our decision to cancel the conference for the 1st time in our history. Put simply, cancelling was the right thing to during the historic time.

The Board is considering different virtual options so that all of us can participate together. We will share more details soon.

Our management team will begin working to provide refunds to all who registered for classes, the banquet, to exhibit or sponsor.  Please allow them time set up a refund process and plan for shipping conference merchandise already purchased. More information will be coming soon about cancelling the hotel and timeline for refunds.
