CGOA Hall of Fame


CGOA is proud to announce the 2018 winner of the Jean Leinhauser CGOA Crochet Hall of Fame.

Pauline Turner

Pauline started in the craft as the International Liaison Officer of CGOA, and held that position for 10 years. She is a founding member, and now honorary member, of the Knitting and Crochet Guild started in the United Kingdom. She is also the founder of the International Diploma in Crochet distance learning course which has successfully continued for over 30 years. Pauline has been awarded Licentiateship of City and Guilds of London Institute for work carried out on their crochet courses, which equates to an honorary degree. In addition, she has written several books, been involved in TV and radio interviews in many countries, and had numerous extensive interviews for global magazines. Pauline has been acclaimed a 'pioneer of crochet' due to her many innovating contributions inputs to crochet worldwide.


CGOA will honor Pauline, who is also teaching at this year’s Chainlink Conference in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday, July 28 at the Banquet dinner.
